Re: How list from a View : Objects new, Objects modified, Objects deleted, ... I know that IRDRMFAO (ex-DOORS TREK) contains an enhanced "compare module" function, that copies comparison results in a new module to solve this problem, but it's a paying solution. If you don't need to track purged items however, the native "Tools->Compare Module..." seems to match your needs. Unless you have specific criteria to identify "modified" objects. |
Re: How list from a View : Objects new, Objects modified, Objects deleted, ... ePiallat - Thu Nov 05 09:17:14 EST 2009 whith the standard tool i see, object by object, what is changed. It is not my need. A need have a list of objects modified, of objects created, ... (quality ingeneer requirement) This can be done by writting in an attribut avalue as 'created', 'modified', ... . I am trying modify script 'smartHistoryViewer.dxl' written by Tony Goodman but it seemed to me a little difficult. (i have modified this script to generate, for each object, a value in an attribut 'version' where i writte Baseline version since this object is unchanged, but this new problem seemed to me more coplex) Pierre |
Re: How list from a View : Objects new, Objects modified, Objects deleted, ...
You may recall that History is stored in the baseline and reset to nothing in the new module. Thus, the only History record in a baselined module is the single 'baseline' module history.
I would plow through all objects in the module, looking for at each object's history. Then I'd plow through the entire module history looking for purge-object history. You could forgo each Object's History and just look through the Module History, but then you need clever data structures to keep track of the current delete-undelete-create etc status for each Object.
History hst
HistoryType htype
for obj in entire mod do
{ for hst in obj do
{ htype = hst.type
if (htype == deleteObject)
// Here are some HistoryTypes to check for:
deleteObject
unDeleteObject
purgeObject
createObject
modifyObject
insertOLE
removeOLE
changeOLE
pasteOLE
clipCutObject
cutOLE
elseif (htype ==
}
}
for hst in mod fo
{ htype = hst.type
if (htype == purgeObject)
{ AbsNo = hst.absNo ""
log object AbsNo was purged
}
}
